A Heartfelt Thank You: Trinity Living East Shines a Spotlight on Our Mission

We are absolutely overwhelmed with gratitude and humbled by the incredible nonprofit spotlight featured in the February 2025 issue of Trinity Living East! To Tina O’Daniels and the entire team at Best Version Media, we cannot thank you enough for your generous support, sponsorship, and for giving our organization such a beautiful platform to share our story with the community.

More Than Just an Article – A Partnership in Compassion

When we first connected with Trinity Living East, we knew we were dealing with more than just a publication – we were connecting with people who truly understand the power of community. Tina O’Daniels and her team didn’t just write about us; they took the time to understand our heart, our mission, and the “why” behind everything we do at Sowing 4 Jesus.

The article, written by Kelly Segal with photography by Annette Alvarez, beautifully captured what we’re all about – being “boots on the ground,” meeting people right where they are, and treating every person we serve as a “community friend” rather than just another number.

Our Story, Told with Heart

What moved us most about this spotlight was how authentically it shared our journey. From our founders William and Annette Alvarez’s personal experience with homelessness over 20 years ago, to our recent transition from Hillsborough County to our new home in Hudson, FL – every detail was handled with such care and respect.

The article didn’t shy away from sharing the real stories that drive our mission:

    • The gentleman who simply asked for toilet paper for Christmas

    • The mother of four who needed help escaping an abusive situation, whom we helped rent a car to drive her children to safety in another state

    • Our Thanksgiving dinner that served 100 people with warmth and love

These aren’t just statistics to us – they’re family. And Trinity Living East understood that completely.

Amplifying Our Vision for the Future

We’re particularly grateful that the spotlight highlighted our exciting upcoming project – Compassion Village – an initiative designed to help families and individuals get back on their feet and regain a sense of normalcy. Having a platform like Trinity Living East share this vision with the broader community is invaluable as we work to make this dream a reality.

The Ripple Effect of Community Support

What Best Version Media and Trinity Living East have done goes far beyond just featuring us in their publication. They’ve:

    • Elevated our visibility in Pasco County, helping us connect with new community friends who need our services

    • Validated our mission by recognizing the importance of grassroots, faith-based community work

    • Created connections between us and other like-minded organizations and individuals

    • Inspired others to get involved through volunteer opportunities and donations

A Partnership Built on Shared Values

Trinity Living East’s commitment to highlighting local nonprofits shows their understanding that strong communities are built by organizations working together. Their willingness to sponsor and support our work demonstrates exactly the kind of collaborative spirit we strive for – becoming a central hub that supports other organizations while continuing to serve those in need.

Looking Forward Together

As we continue our work in Pasco County and beyond, we’re reminded that none of this happens in isolation. It takes partners like Tina O’Daniels, Best Version Media, Trinity Living East, and countless community members who believe in the power of compassion to create real change.

We’re already planning our 2025 banquet to celebrate all the blessings that have come from our organization, and we know that Trinity Living East’s support has played a significant role in those blessings.

To Tina O’Daniels and the entire Best Version Media family: Thank you for seeing the heart behind our mission, for taking the time to tell our story with such care, and for being true partners in compassion. Your support means more than words can express, and we’re honored to be part of the Trinity Living East community family.

Together, we’re not just serving others – we’re brightening hearts, one person, one family, and one community friend at a time.

A Special Thank You to Our Media Partner

We want to give a special shout-out to Tina Barreiro O’Daniels, Publisher of Trinity Living East, who has been instrumental in bringing our story to the community. Tina started Trinity Living East in October 2021 with a vision of “uniting the community – one person, one home, one business at a time” – a mission that perfectly aligns with our own heart for community connection.
