About Us

Sowing 4 Jesus was founded in 2002, answering a divine call to serve with a passion for family, friends, and community. Early on, we realized that everyone we help is part of our extended family. Helping others has always come naturally to us, rooted in the values instilled by our parents and guided by the biblical principle to “Love thy neighbor as thyself” (Matthew 22:39).

Our journey has not been without challenges. There were times when we were in survival mode, struggling to support our own family, yet we continued to help whenever possible. Today, we collect food, clothing, monetary donations, furniture, and supplies to distribute in our neighborhoods. The need has only grown greater, but so has our vision. In 2008, we established a food pantry, and we are now planning to purchase land to build affordable housing for families and foster children transitioning into adulthood. This project will be supported by the revenue from the housing, which will also fund a faith-based rehabilitation center for those struggling with addiction.

Our heartfelt desire is to create a haven where people can transform their lives from the inside out. We understand the importance of stable housing, having experienced homelessness ourselves—living in hotels, cars, and on friends’ floors. Affordable housing is crucial for families with children who need support. Life can be unpredictable, but our goal is to help others overcome adversity. Having lost loved ones to addiction, our future rehabilitation center gives us hope for change. We believe that through Christ, we can rebuild what has been broken, fostering healing through love and caring relationships at Sowing 4 Jesus.
